The Witness

The Broker, the Negotiator, the Witness.  Often, when 2 powerful entities enter into an agreement, there is a lack of trust.  She is the one summoned to act as an impartial 3rd party, and to keep either side honest the deal.  Her collateral?  Their very existence.  Her jewel can absorb the essence of a being and destroy it if need be.  Betray your agreement with her and your life is forfeit.  She cares nothing for good or evil, only...interesting events.  Events worth brokering to make happen, events worth being a part of, events worth witnessing.
